In 2001 the W.G. & IAC ownership decided to buy out a gym in Post Falls (formerly “Futures” – “24-Hour”-“Stay-fit”). Another gym named “Ultrafit” was also operating in Post Falls at the time. The two facilities decided to partner up and become World Gym of Post Falls (now Peak of PF) at this time Jim Doty became a partner is the ownership group (now know as DART management). The small facility was located in the basement of the Post Falls Medical Center (current location). In March of 2001 a cardio area, group fitness room was added to the 1st floor of the building.
Post Falls is a city in Kootenai County, Idaho, between Coeur d'Alene and Spokane, Washington. It is a suburb of Coeur d'Alene, to the east, and a bedroom community to Spokane, to the west. The population was 27,574 at the 2010 census, up from 17,247 in 2000 census, making it Idaho's tenth largest city. Census Bureau estimated 2019.

In October of 2003 an expansion was completed that allowed W.G. to occupy the entire 1st and basement floors of the building growing to 15,000 sq. feet. On April 2008 WG PF expanded again to over 35,000 sq. feet adding a larger locker rooms, saunas and a new cardio area. All new cardio equipment was also purchased at that time.
The fall of 2008 brought on more change as all 3-facilities decided to change their name to “Peak Health & Wellness Center”. This was done to eliminate the confusion of the two different names, create better brand awareness, and strengthen our relationship with our “sister” clubs or reciprocal gyms in other states.
